The Estate

The farm has been entirely family-run since grandfather Domenico and grandmother Carmela purchased the first land back in 1961.

The company currently covers approximately 15 hectares, which have been farmed organically since 2015.

Our work is important, but it is the climate and the territory that form the basis of the unique styles of our wines.

Years of Experience

About

Our vineyards are all located on the hills of Chieti, on the southeast slope bordering Francavilla al Mare. They face the sea at an altitude of 250 meters, where they receive sea breezes that are vital to the quality of our grapes. The wide temperature range ensures gradual aromatic ripening and natural preservation of minerality and freshness.

The origin and nature of our soils, just a few kilometers from the sea, makes all the difference: they are in fact composed mainly of marine sand and are therefore warm, well-draining and generally low in clay. This has a significant impact on the quality of the grapes: the vineyards guarantee very low yields and the grapes are highly concentrated in aromas and structure. ideal terrains therefore to maximize the expression of the typicality of our varieties.

About

We follow the entire production chain, from the vineyard to the bottle. This is why we are proud to be part of FIVI (Independent Winemakers).

During the harvest, we hand-pick all our grapes and make wine within minutes. In the cellar, our goal is to preserve the unique characteristics of our terroir through careful winemaking and the use of steel vats, with wood used sparingly.

Years of Experience

We want to be ambassadors of our region, which is why we choose to grow and vinify only native Abruzzo grape varieties: Pecorino, Passerina, Trebbiano, Cococciola, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, as well as rediscovering ancient varieties such as Palava and Maiolica.
